Privacy Policy
Effective July 15, 2026
The short version.
Marble has no account, ads, or third-party tracking. Your workout data stays on your device unless you choose to export it or share it with Apple Health.
Information the app handles
Marble stores the exercises, sets, workout sessions, sprint goals, supplements, notes, reminders, and preferences you enter. If you add progress photos or videos, those files also remain on your device. Marble does not send this information to us.
Apple Health
With your permission, Marble can read workout information from Apple Health so you can import Apple Watch workouts and workouts from services such as Garmin that sync through Apple Health. Marble can also write completed strength workouts and effort scores to Apple Health. This access is optional, used only for fitness features you request, and never used for advertising, marketing, or data mining.
You can change Marble's Health access at any time in iOS Settings or the Health app. Data already written to Apple Health is controlled and deleted from the Health app.
Device permissions
Marble may request access to Photos or the camera when you choose progress media or scan a handwritten workout, and notifications when you create reminders or use the rest timer. Scanning and analysis happen on-device. You can revoke these permissions in iOS Settings.
Exports, backups, and deletion
Exporting a JSON backup creates a file you control and share through the system share sheet. Progress photos and videos are intentionally excluded. Restoring a backup reads only the file you select.
You can delete individual records inside Marble. Deleting the app removes its local database and local progress media, subject to normal iOS backup behavior. Files you exported and data written to Apple Health must be deleted from the location where you saved them.
Sharing and third parties
Marble does not sell personal information or share workout or Health data with advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers. Apple processes App Store, iCloud device-backup, notification, Siri, Shortcuts, and Health data under Apple's terms when you use those system services. If you open the GitHub support page or another external link, that service's privacy policy applies.
This website
The marble-fit.app website uses Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, aggregated page and interaction counts. Vercel says these analytics are not tied to an individual or IP address. Do not include personal information in URL query parameters or support messages unless it is necessary.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Marble changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions or deletion requests can be sent to enzo@design-prism.com.
